The Dominion Quartet was formed with the calling to share the Word of God and message of Salvation through Southern Gospel music. Over the years as wonderfully talented Christian men have represented Dominion, the group has continued to remain faithful to the ministry. It is a calling that is not taken lightly. While known for close knit harmonies and powerful vocals, striving for excellence in each concert, their professionalism is only surpassed by their abilty to connect with an audience through warmth and sincerity.
Stacey Akers: is the Owner/ Manager of the Dominion Quartet. His Tenor vocals are often compared with some of the all time Southern Gospel greats. With his range, he thrills listeners on recordings and as well as in live performances. You will surely be blessed in the depth of talent and ministry he brings to the group. Introduced to Southern Gospel Music at a very young age, he has had the privilege of traveling across the U.S. with different groups over the years. He and his wife Shelley are the parents of Daniel, Jordan and Mariah. When Stacey's not traveling , he enjoys spending time with his family and working in the studio.
Jordan Akers: sings the Lead part and at age 18, is the youngest member of the group. The beginning of a family tradition, he has had the honor of singing along side his father Stacey the past few years. Quickly becoming a fan favorite, he is sure to have a bright future in Southern Gospel music. With Jordan's energy and youth, along with his dynamic Lead voice, he helps make Dominion a well rounded group. It is his desire to reach out to the youth everywhere they go. When he isn't singing, he enjoys listening to music, playing the guitar, playing sports and spending time with his family and friends.
Stephen Rymarz: sings the Baritone part. He is an extremely talented singer , whose rich , smooth baritone vocals blend with the tradtional group harmony to provide an original quartet sound. He has a heart for ministry and seeing lives changed by the power of God. All of those who hear him will be blessed, as he shares his testimony, his love for God and Southern Gospel music. Stephen and his wife Katie are parents of three children.
Deo Young: Has been singing for more than 40 years throughout the U.S. and Canada. His Bass vocals have been compared to gospel greats, like George Younce and JD Sumner , of which Deo feels blessed to be in the same company as his heros.
